Boogey Lights® Installation Services
We offer factory installation services for BOOGEY LIGHTS® producst and LED light kits in our Florence, KY facility located at 9000 Empire Connector Drive Ste B, Florence KY 41042. Installation is by appointment only and in most cases, will require you to leave your vehicle for the day (sometimes longer). We are typically booked 30 days out, sometimes further. Our ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM makes it simple to book an appointment up to 120 days out.
To schedule an installation appointment, you can BOOK ONLINE HERE. This booking system is dynamic in that it shows all available time spots in near real time. We accept appointments Monday through Friday (and will sometimes go into Saturday if needed). Our shop rate is $95 hour (Monday - Friday) plus shop supplies with a one hour minimum. Service time is billed in 15 minute increments thereafter. Saturday shop rate billed at a rate of $125/hour. Sunday/Holiday shop rate billed at a rate of $150/hour. NOTE: If your vehicle doesn't have bathroom facilities on-board the City of Florence will not allow over-night stays at our facility.
TIME CHART BY VEHICLE
Use the chart below to estimate how much time to book to light up the areas of your vehicle. We book installations in blocks of 4 hours. Always round up. You will only be charged for the time we actually use (not the entire installation time booked). If you need assistance in determining how much time to allocate, give us a call at 800.847.1359 and someone can assist you.
Time frames are estimates. We will provide a not to exceed number once we know specifically which kit(s) you want installed and have a chance to review the vehicle. All installation work is warranted for one year at our facility in Florence, KY. Note: An installation schedule deposit may be required at the time the installation appointment is booked.
INSTALLATION FAQ'S
Q: I purchased a Boogey Lights LED light kit online. Can you install that kit for me?
A: We are happy to install a Boogey Lights LED light kit you purchased from us online with two caveats:
First, if you used a discount promo code for your online purchase make sure that promo code doesn't specifically exclude installation of that kit at our factory HQ without a price adjustment. Some of our promo codes specifically excludes having the kit installed at Boogey HQ in Florence, KY. Why? Because those promo codes will have a deep discount associated with them. They're targeted toward DIY install and non-Boogey HQ installation customers (95% of our business). The discount offered is deeper than what we can support if we were to do the installation in-house here in Florence, KY. To make our factory install services as affordable as possible we have priced our weekday install service rate at only $95 per hour. This is significantly lower than what you'll find anywhere else; typically $125 - $185 per hour in most parts of the country. In addition, our hourly rate is per shop hour; not per man hour like most shops. There are times when we'll have more than one person assist with the installation. Of course if you purchased your kit using one these special promo codes, we can still do the installation. Just be aware we cannot extend the same special promo discount.
Second, in most cases we will not install the very same light kit you received. Instead, we'll take back the kit you purchased and give you credit for that kit. Then, after taking measurements of your vehicle, we will build out and install a light kit that fits your specific vehicle. Because we are the manufacturer, we are able to build these light kits on-site to fit your specific vehicle which is the main reason customers drive from all over the country to have us do the installation. Each light kit we install is custom built to fit the vehicle in our installation bay. Our experience has been that no two vehicles are exactly the same. There are always some differences. Having the ability to measure and build the light kit on-site is a huge advantage.
Q: Can we stay overnight at your facility if the installation requires more than one day?
A: If your vehicle has bed and bathroom facilities, you're welcome to stay in our secured gated facility for the duration of your visit with us. In fact, we offer 50amp electrical service at no charge to our customers for this very reason (sorry, no sewer or water). It's not unusual too for customers to arrive the night before their scheduled appointment or even stay an additional night after the install is complete. Our facility is large enough to accommodate multiple large vehicles of 80' or more with plenty of room to maneuver. Q: I'm going to need local transportation. What is available in the area?
A: If you need local transportation there are a number of options including Uber, Lyft and of course, rental car agencies. We're 10 minutes from the Cincinnati-Northern KY international airport. Every possible rental car agency is based in the immediate area. If you do a quick online search for 'rental car companies near florence ky', you'll see all kinds of options.
Q: What Payment Options do you Offer?
A: We accept VISA, MC, AMX, DISCOVER, DEBIT CARDS, CHECKS (US based banks only) and CASH. We can also accept PAYPAL and VENMO.
Q: I have some lights I purchased elsewhere I'd like to have installed on my vehicle. Can you install those lights too?
A: We are BOOGEY INC. dba BOOGEY LIGHTS. We manufacture and install Boogey Lights brand of high performance LED lighting systems. We aren't an RV service center, truck/auto repair shop or lighting accessory installation facility. Our core competency is designing and manufacturing our unique brand of LED lighting systems and installing those systems on just about anything that moves. We only install Boogey Lights LED lighting systems. Insurance regulations do not allow us to perform work that is not directly related to the installation of Boogey Lights LED lighting systems.
NOTE: If your vehicle already has another company's lighting system installed, our policy is not to get involved in work that would require us to remove that lighting system. Instead, we suggest taking your vehicle to a qualified service center who is insured specifically for repair work for your type of vehicle. They will be able to warranty any work they do for you. Why? We are the manufacturer of Boogey Lights high performance LED lighting systems. We aren't an RV service center, repair shop or lighting accessory installation facility. Our core competency is designing and manufacturing our LED lighting systems and installing those systems on just about anything that moves. We only install Boogey Lights LED lighting systems. Insurance regulations do not allow us to perform work that is not directly related to the installation of Boogey Lights LED lighting systems.
