3M® Dual Lock Reclosable Fastener - Black

We've found this 3M® Dual Lock fastening system to be the perfect solution for mounting Boogey Lights® controllers in locations where you might want to be able to remove them at some point in the future.  Use this Dual Lock Fastener instead of the permanent 3M® double-sided tape.  We also use this for mounting our LED CONTROL CENTERS to the inside of battery bays or mounting aluminum flat bar (and angle bar) to RVs and Semi Trucks where we are unable to find a suitable rivet point.

3M® Dual Lock Reclosable Fastener is the convenient alternative to traditional fastening methods - including "Velcro". It is designed to provide a durable, reclosable fastening solution (which can be opened and closed multiple times) that bonds to a variety of substrates including metals and plastics such as acrylics, polycarbonate and ABS. This Dual Lock Reclosable Fastener tape has exceptional strength through its interlocking mushroom-shaped heads (there are 250 stem density per square inch) providing up to 5X the tensile strength of typical hook-and-loop products. 3/4" inch wide. 1. The photo for this product is generic. The red backing tape shown in the photo may be a different color (eg white or grey). We have used this product extensively for installing our light kits on all kinds of vehicles and the backing tape color makes no difference. If you are purchasing this product for a purpose other than installing Boogey Lights® lighting systems in accordance with our installation instructions and you are expecting the backing tape color to be red, we suggest making your purchase elsewhere.

2. This product is sold by the foot where one foot will provide 6" of coverage since it is designed to stick to itself. So for example, if you need 1 foot of double sided coverage, order 2 feet.
